Although OM is a 100% online educational project, we currently focus on Chile, since specific requirements must be met for each country. So for now only in Chile, but we are getting everything ready to open in other countries.
Yes, our educational project is fully online, with remote classes taught by specialized Guides (Teachers) and small groups of children. Connections are made through Google Meet. They are not pre-recorded classes; they are taught by Guides (Teachers) in small groups, so we are not like other online schools.
The equivalent up to 1st year of secondary school in Chile. We offer multi-grade levels that, following the Montessori approach, are organized according to your child's age and development:
Children's House, 3 to 6 years
Workshop I, 6 to 9 years
Workshop II, 9 to 12 years.
Panello, 12 to 14 years.
No, OM is a private and independent educational project.
Children can validate their studies by taking free exams at designated schools. At OM we prepare children and families so they can take these tests and advance through the equivalent of regular education. 100% of the students who have taken free exams have passed them.
At Open Montessori we work with a maximum of 11 students per class. This allows each Guide (Teacher) to know your child by name, their pace and their interests, offering truly personalized attention. In addition, classes are held with cameras and microphones on, which makes real interaction possible: children participate, ask questions, talk and socialize as in an in-person classroom, not as spectators of a screen.
