One of the most beautiful things has been seeing how she has gained autonomy. The system the school uses to organize personal work and materials —even with clear guidance for keeping order at home— has allowed her to take responsibility for her things and for her own process. We also greatly value the moments created to strengthen the human side, like when the children tell each other things they appreciate, for example at birthdays or farewells. They are simple moments, but very meaningful.
We have felt well supported by the school. Before the free exams, the children take practice tests that are reviewed internally, which gives a clear reference of where they stand. Based on those results, we receive a concrete outline of the content already mastered and the content that needs reinforcement, which makes the following study much more focused. We also appreciate that these practice tests are even a little more demanding than the official exam, because that gives greater confidence.
I would recommend it to families who can actively accompany the educational process from home, since that role is key for it to work well. We believe it is a good alternative for those looking for something different from the traditional system, with small groups, personalized attention and the flexibility to adapt to each child's real needs, both when they are more advanced in one area and when they need more support in others.
Our experience at OM exceeded all expectations. Our daughter feels comfortable and connects happily to her classes every day, which shows us that OM was the best decision. As a family we are very grateful and we highlight the impeccable work of the entire team.
OM has been an excellent decision for our family. Initially we were looking for an educational alternative for our daughter during the pandemic, and we have been pleasantly surprised by the dedication, professionalism and quality of the Montessori guides. I am Joscelyn Vasquez, my daughter Emily is 9 years old. Until last year, she only studied at home and took free exams, but she wanted more. She has always been curious and demanding about what she is interested in learning, and we knew that conventional education was not for her. Luckily, we found OM, where we placed all our hopes.
